Webkinz are plush stuffed animals that come with a tag containing a one of a kind computer code.The owner then goes to Webkinz world and enters the code, creating an account.

The account includes a small computer animated version of the stuffed animal,users are allowed to print a certificate of adoption, and to play in Webkinz World. In Webkinz World, the account owner can feed his or her pet, provide them with furniture and toys, earn Webkinz dollars by playing games and doing math, and much more.

Webkinz animals are the latest fad to hit big with children.The year 2006 saw these little darlings only to be found in a few specific shops.Some flower stores had them.When Christmas time rolled around, the trend was a nationwide phenomenon, by spring some Webkinz could no longer be found on store shelves.

The thought behind the Webkinz craze taking off so fast may have to do with the online part.Children and, quite frankly alot of adults, can use their internet accounts to play in a safe, secure climate. Because there is no chat, the worry about child predators is not a concern.Webkinz owners can have a great time and an educational one as well.
