What do you think of the new Russ Shining Stars? Will you collect them in addition to or instead of Webkinz now? Why or why not?
At first my opinion was that they are just a rip off of Webkinz, but after looking at them, quite honestly I think most of them are actually cuter than Webkinz. (And I’m a huge Webkinz fan!) And with Webkinz being so hard to find, they might be a nice alternative. Not sure if they are going to be a hit and just wanted to see what opinions others had.

Well i have like 30 webkinz and my sister has almost all of them and just got a shining star. i think she likes both.i don’t like getting on the website but the animals are cute. my sister gets on the sites all of the time.
I love webkinz and i’m not planning to collect any shining stars. I also think there rip off cause they want kids to buy it then realize it’s not any good. Webkinz is so much safer and my friend and i collect them. Webkinz RULE and Shining stars DRULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i have 1 shining star and 2 webkinz but honestly i prefer webkinz there are so many different things to do with them depending on where you are they are usally easy to find. and even though the shining stars are cuter i would go with webinz
Webkinz are cuter and cheaper. They should start to be easier to get. They were having shipping problems but I think they have been fixed. Good luck.
Webkinz, it’s safer and you can have your own room and stuff
Webkinz
I think that the Shining Stars are very cute as a stuffed animal but animated, they are not very cute. As for Webkinz, they are cute as a stuffed animal and animated. I don’t think I will ever get a Shining Star because I think they are more for little children than they are for older children. I think the Shining Stars might be a big hit with the small children but not very much with the older childre. Webkinz does make alot more than Shining Stars do but Webkinz would make ALOT more if they were sold in more familiar stores. Walmart, Target, Toys R Us, Kbtoys, etc.
